The terroirs

Domaine Gayda has many vineyards across the Languedoc

The diversity of the Languedoc ensures each vineyard adds its specific character to our wines. All the grapes are transported by refrigerated lorry to the Domaine where they are sorted and the vinification process starts. For us this diversity of soil and climate is paramount to the philosophy of Gayda. Each terroir is vinified and matured separately and it is the final blending of these barrels that makes the unique quality and style of our wines. We follow each vineyard from pruning to harvest and ensure that each follows the organic growing principals that strictly correspond to our sustainability goals in vineyard management. These beautiful natural environments make us proud to be their guardians.
