• Ruby red with some purple highlights. Vibrant, expressive nose of red and black fruits, pepper, spice and “garrigue”. A full bodied wine, with an expansive mouthfeel, integrated tannins and a long, silky finish.
  Deep crimson. Rich and herby. Well balanced. Spicy and sweet. 16.5/20

• Deep gold colour, very aromatic, with hints of stonefruit and honeysuckle. A rich full bodied wine with real depth, weight and concentration and a hint of oak to add further complexity. A lot of personality. Approachable now but will continue to develop and improve over the next 5 years.
  Slightly smoky. Good, racy stuff. 16.5/20

• Displays an explosive red fruit profile with moderate grippy tannins, surprising acidity and an elegance and impressive longevity on the finish. This is a serious Grenache, with a purity of fruit and concentration.
  Very dark crimson, sweet. Much cooler than Châteauneuf - a cool rendition. Without the weight of Southern Rhône

• Very deep colour, opaque. Black pepper, liquorice and spice. A full bodied wine, with layers of black fruits, pepper and moderate tannins.

• In the international wine competition “Syrah du Monde 2009” our Domaine Gayda Cépages Syrah 2007 not only won a gold medal award but came in the top 10 of world Syrah’s. Equally as outstanding is the fact that we rank first place for France. This year’s “Syrah du Monde” brought together 397 wines from 27 countries.
  Vincent Chansault (the winemaker) is a big fan of the Rhône. Very good structure. Cool and sleek and very polished. Very, very fresh. Very un-languedoc!

• Appealingly floral and fruity on the nose. Toasty, stone fruit, mineral with good weight and depth on the palate. Fresh finish.
  Fresh, clean, cool-climate style Chardonne. A mélange of citrus and tropical fruit with a creamy texture from some expert oak handling. Chablis with attitude.
